The National Association of Pastoral Musicians (popularly known as "NPM") is a membership organization primarily composed of musicians, musician-liturgists, clergy, and other leaders of prayer devoted to serving the life and mission of the Roman Catholic Church through fostering the art of musical liturgy in Catholic worshiping communities in the United States of America (from the mission statement of NPM).  The local Galveston-Houston NPM Archdiocesan Chapter works in conjunction with the Archdiocesan Office of Worship to further one's pastoral and musical skills, and provide an opportunity for networking among its many musician and clergy members. All who are actively involved with the making of music in worship, in any of the Roman Catholic communities of faith of the Galveston-Houston Archdiocese, are invited to join our local NPM chapter.
